They are big for my 11 month old who can walk fully but ONLY because he is a size 5 and they are only a size 6. I know this is the norm size 6 they walk but my son started walking at 9 months so maybe you should consider going down a size? Got him a pair for his first week of kindergarten and tried them at home - he walks MUCH better! It kept slipping and I put on anti slip socks but it didn't work. This gave him the balance and confidence he needed to walk. Bought a few more for home
