I still had never a TENS unit so I'm not sure how I should feel. I played with different programs and different intensities. In program A I didn't feel anything until I changed the intensity to around level 15 and even then I felt a slight tap but almost nothing. However, when I lean forward, like when I'm sitting in a chair, I feel the vibrations much better, but as soon as I sit down or stand up, nothing. Once this thing has 19 minutes left on the timer I have to reduce the intensity to around 8 because that's what the next 10 minutes of this program definitely feels like! It's a very strong pulsing, so I'd say I'm feeling what I'm supposed to be feeling. Once the timer says 10 minutes, again nothing, and I have to increase the intensity to about 15, and even then I don't feel anything without leaning forward. It's like the electrodes aren't touching each other when I'm standing or sitting. I haven't tried lying on my back, but that might be the best way to use it. Program B and D, the same. I don't feel anything until I increase the intensity to about 15 and the same. I have to stand and bend or sit and bend to feel something. The C program is the only program that suits me. These are the same bursts of pulses as the flashes in Program A for the second 10 minutes of the program. I was hoping it would be something I could wear under my clothes, but that's not the case, so I only use it at home. Despite all that, even if I just have to use the C program, it definitely helps with my lower back pain.
