Don't count on a padlock as something very secure, but it will let you know whether or not someone has accessed your data. I've also read other reviews that mentioned instructions. Okay. TERRIBLE guide! I counted 17 errors, some quite significant. One of the other comments in the reviews I read a lot was that the locks don't work at all. This is because the hole is not drilled properly. You must measure the screw correctly or install it by trial/error for it to engage. However, when it is together, it is a beautiful and versatile wardrobe. You can set up letter and legal sized documents and plenty of space. It's also the perfect height for us as we place our copier/printer/scanner on it so it's right at a comfortable working height. Very solid case all around, good fit and finish. Better than IKEA stuff.
