(it's a Chinese fake to be honest, but it appears to be a fully functional and capable fake). Installed tonight and it is the same brightness and color as the original bulb that came with my "JVC DLA-X500rbu Projector". Honestly, only time will tell if he lasts as many hours as he claims he can survive. I kept my projector in Eco mode unless I was watching animated films (like The Avengers or Pixar films) and have done it since 2013. A little less than 2020! I bet this lamp won't last as long as it's clearly not a genuine JVC lamp, but JVC charges $499.99 for a replacement lamp. and for $53 with some modifications this bulb is a good deal - AGAIN if it lasts say 1/8th if it is original it will be worth it. Plus, with the premiere, it arrived a day earlier than expected! Hooray
