I helped my seven year old daughter order this for herself. My son had bought himself one in Las Vegas a couple years ago and she had wanted one but didn't want to spend that much. He paid about $30 for his and it doesn't have the amount of settings this one does. There are multiple settings, you can choose to have a solid lit image, a slow blinking image, a fast blinking image, a gradual light up of the image, and then, last but not least, the sound activated lit image. She is super happy with her new hat and I love that there was a unicorn one because she loves unicorns. The hat comes with two packaged batteries as a courtesy and a little thank you note, talk about good customer service. Those little details go a long way. We are very happy with our purchase and I think I will be ordering these for Christmas for all my nieces and nephews.
