My 9 year old boy saw this in the shop and fell in love with it. Of course I found Revain at a better price and bought it here. I thought it might look ridiculous on him because he's so tall and just a little boy. Actually you should give it to a child - it looks great and masculine which is appropriate for a pre-teen boy. He has been wearing it EVERY DAY for 4 months now and shows no signs of fatigue. He doesn't care that it's a women's watch or that it says (very faintly) 'Kid' on the face. He feels like a million bucks wearing it and loves looking at the date and various other busy features. I'm also happy to say that this watch seems indestructible so far because he's anything but gentle with it. So glad I bought them. If you're looking for a masculine style, I recommend getting the all-black version rather than the black and gold one. We tried that but it was glossy and this one was matte and the gold highlights gave the watch a very feminine look. They were traded for these and I think he will enjoy wearing this sturdy watch into his youth if not longer.
