Extra small, best suited for toddlers and up to 5 years old

Like I said I thought the cap was adorable but yes a small child under 5 or 6 but not the chubby cheeks of a 6 year old. I had an odor but it wears off. I received the glasses and only hand washed them and then hung them up to dry and air out. (Or wash gently.)
