Such a cute coffee table. Has a certain industrial/farm feel and the size is perfect for my new sun lounger. I'm a DIY girl and it was very easy to put together. I'm not a fan of faux wood and I won't say the wood looks real but I bought this table because my grandson likes to drive his cars around the table sometimes and I didn't want to cause any stress. with a new wooden table. I think I'll keep the faux wood countertop until it grows a bit and if I still like it and want to keep the table, I love repainting the furniture and it would be very easy, a round piece Buying real wood and painting it and replacing it with fake. The new coffee table is definitely changing the look of my living room for the better. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it's not a real tree and it's pretty easy to tell that it isn't. The real wood table which I found very similar was also 3 times what I paid for this very pretty coffee table. I really wish they had matching or consistent end tables. UPDATE: I've had this table for 4-6 weeks now and wanted to say I'm still very happy with my purchase. Still a 5 in my opinion. My grandson is behaving exactly as I expected and it's such a relief that I can just let him play and not have to worry about damage. It's the perfect height for him, easy to move, and perfect for me. He loves "monster trucks" and enjoys watching them on YouTube and making his toy trucks jump and land hard and crash hard or fall off the ledge. no marks on the table at all. I also keep his diapers and tissues in a round basket on the bottom shelf. Looks good, but no one knows what's inside. Very handy bonus!
