Blue gets dirty easily, especially inside (should have ordered black). but other than that it's definitely nice and does its job. It charges my Apple Pencil 2, but only with a really THIN pen cover. So take that into account if you have a somewhat thick lid, even if it's silicone. In terms of protection, I don't think it offers much protection if your iPad is dropped. I would recommend it as a temporary case until companies release safer, more protective cases for your iPad OR if you're the kind of person who prefers thin cases for your iPad, or if you're superhuman and accident immune and have never been afraid of the cute one hyperactive dog accidentally knocked over your iPad and smashed its screen. Jokes aside, the cover is aesthetically pleasing and the blue is a stunning soft blue. But obviously common sense tells me I wouldn't bet on a $13 case to protect your $2,000 iPad. ;-) So don't expect too much! It's quite thin and scares me when I leave my iPad unattended, knowing it's safe and far, far away from my cute dogs (because like I mentioned, accidents happen, lol).
