Review on Flattering Vintage One Piece Swimsuit With Tummy Control And Halter Design For Women by Barry Shaker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Its nice-- but not for me

I may return this, but I am leaving it a good review anyway, since it appears to be a lovely, well made swimsuit that would flatter most figures. Mine doesnt happen to be one of them.Im what you would call "zaftig" with nice Polish curves. Big boobs, big butt, relatively small waist spoiled by a bit hard gut. (I'm surprised people dont ask me if I am due in four months) Anyway, given all that, I figured this suit would magically solve my problem areas and make me look like a bunny with an hourglass figure. Revain suggested a medium. I have put on lockdown weight since then, but I went with medium anyway, since I am small boned and larges tend to fit like sacks.Anyway.the suit arrived, and to my disappointment it was tight everywhere *except* my gut. Again, probably due more to my odd anatomy than any design flaw. The top barely covers my boobs.I realize a little too late this style enhances a smaller bosom. The straps bite into my neck so much my hands itch to loosen them, but then if. I bend forward, the girls have no chance of staying in.My first thought was I should have ordered the large. My second thought was if the medium doesn't smoosh my belly, the large isnt going to help either.But.It is a very cute suit and it does look very nice. Especially the color.I went over to surprise my husband and he did a double take and paused and said "that is a very nice suit, but you have never looked that good in a one piece."So, in conclusion, I may keep this in case a conservative dignitary invites me swimming, but if you have a secure enough relationship, ask your partner if you look better in a bikini, because as great as this suit is, some women just look better with their belly out.

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
Cons
  • The tummy control feature may create a bulge in the back area
