has been in my Crown vic for a month, sounds great. captures ups and downs. bass is good like the quality. for those who complain about the noise they make when plugged into a deck when no music is playing. It's a cassette adapter. They all make this noise, even some cassettes made noise. This is not an MP3 player, there are some mechanical things going on. noticed a small piece of transparent vinyl over the head of the band. I think it's for the head guard, maybe that was why the tape didn't work on some, idk. I deleted it before I started listening to music from my phone.
