In summary - this device is every bit as good as a regular cordless phone with the convenience of Alexa built in. The phone took a few extra steps to set it up, activate it, and get a list of contacts. The portability allows me to use Alexa in the garage, on the porch, in the yard, in the basement, anywhere within reach. I also had to get used to a lot. The contact list appears to be based on your cell phone's contacts without the phone itself being editable (the phone itself has editable contacts keyboard shortcuts). 2. The phone is just a fraction of a second slower than a typical wireless device3. The tube is narrow at the bottom and is difficult to stand upright without a stand.4. After a while the phone will go to sleep mode and you need to press a button to wake it up first. Overall, I like the portability and convenience of having an Alexa device anywhere I need it, in or near my home.
