Review on πŸ” Revive and Restore in a Blink: PolyWatch Glass Polish Scratch Remover for Watch Glass by Jaxon Prince

It works well with a little sand and the help of a Dremel

I used this on a slightly scratched Seiko Automatic with a Hardlex mineral crystal and with a little help it worked fine! I started with a wet sanding first with 1000 grit and 2000 grit sandpaper, then 3000 grit. This left the crystal mostly scratch free but there were 2 or 3 deep scratches left and it was a little hazy in the Sun. So I ordered a Polywatch glass kit. The set was really great. It comes with most of what you need except elbow grease and finally Dremel. I followed the directions for T, applying the right pressure at the right angle for a few rounds, using about 2/3 of the base cream, and washing with soap and water in between. Round. You must have a lot of patience. I ended up taking my Dremel, attaching a buffing pad, putting a few drops of cream on the scratches and starting to buff on medium to low speed. I used circular motions and applied light pressure. I then used a mini sanding disc to clean it up. After two polishing/polishing/washing cycles, the crystal was shiny and very smooth. I tested it with a loop in bright sunlight and the results were like new. Overall I'm very satisfied, but I wish Polywatch would only recommend Dremel. That would make the job a lot easier. I would definitely buy the set again. But now I know better that a little extra help is needed. I should note that Hardlex outperforms regular glass in terms of hardness and difficulty in polishing, it would be far more effective with regular glass or crystal.
