I installed mine in less than an hour to illuminate my workbench under the metal cabinets in my garage. They call it a 'kit', but installing the fixings is a breeze with the included clips and magnets. It's versatile as you can daisy chain them to separate them using the supplied connector or connect them together using the supplied connectors. However, the dimmer switch is bulky and lacks permanent mounting hardware. A simple on/off rocker switch is more appropriate for a workbench as the effect does not need to be dimmed.
