Review on πŸŒ€ Enhance Your Ceiling Fan with Harbor Breeze 5-Pack 18.6-in White/Oak Reversible Blades by Chantel Dickinson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's easy if you have the right drill.

All the discs are well balanced, I just don't understand why they don't give you the correct drill size. Most blade mounts require a 5/16" diameter hole, but you only get a pilot hole sized drill bit. To save a lot of time, mark and drill a pilot hole on the side you want to show. This way the chips are on the top (ceiling) when drilling. Then drill with an appropriate size drill bit. After making sure the holes line up, use either blue tape or staples if you have them to tie them together. together, making sure your tops (ceiling side) are facing down. I would suggest using blue tape under the clips if using this to protect the fairing. one above. Drill pilot holes in the center of each hole, and then drill them with an appropriate size drill bit. Many today are 5/16 inch tall. It's much easier to remove the blade mounts than to replace the old blades with new ones, keeping in mind which side you want to turn down. Reassemble and do a test run to check for balance issues. Much luck!
