Directs the light where it is needed on the keyboard and desk. No shadows or highlights. Simple, smart design, easy setup, no tools required. Allows you to set personal preferences for light type and intensity. Perfect for my Imac 21.5". I don't have to turn on the room light at night or fumble for the desk lamp switch. The switch dims to make it easier to find in the dark. One click and the keyboard and desk light up. The desktop is neater with no additional interference from the lamp and power cord. One issue is that the light flickers a little when turned on in low light and then becomes constant. I've found that if I start on a high setting for maybe 20 seconds as the light intensity reduces flicker (Don't forget to remove the plastic protector from the LED strip.)
