Not suitable for bookshelves or display cases

The plan is to use this 120v Parmida kit to light up items on bookshelves/display shelves, specifically by installing a strip under each shelf and connecting the strips together get connected. Was a deep disappointment as the connecting cables are only 24 inches long which is not long enough as my shelves are usually 10-14 inches apart. To illustrate the problem, let's assume that the first strip was placed in the middle. the bottom of the top shelf. The connecting cord should run from the end of this strip back to the hole in the back of the bookcase/cabinet where the power cord goes (about 8-10 inches considering how the cord has to be bent), down and straight through the hole below the nearest shelf (10-14 inches) and to the end of the strip installed similar to this shelf (about 8-10 inches). So at least the connection cable should be 26 inches long, which is 2 inches longer than theirs. Hence the disappointment. Adding to injury, this is currently the only high-end 6-strip kit, 120v, high lumens available from Revain in white (i.e. white wires, white strip housings, etc.) that goes with white bookshelves/cabinets like mine looks better). Please note that a similar 12v Parmida kit has the same problem (connecting cables are only 24 inches long). Right now the best solution/alternative is either to buy 5 x 5ft Parmida white patch cords which will cost me around $30. per kit/bookshelf/closet and takes almost a week to get here via Prime, or use the fairly similar and highly acclaimed 12v Litever kit (B01L6W7F3U) which includes 39" jumper cables but all the cables and stripe cases are black sticking out like a sore thumb from under my white shelves (although they're great on a black bookcase/case). Please note that hand-activated models are not suitable for me (there been, done, will not resort to this PITA activation approach for any foreseeable application). Come on, Parmida, could you save a few inches of wire? Even with a kitchen cabinet, if the connecting cords are too long, you can always loop the cord and attach it to the underside of the cabinet where it won't be visible.
