Review on πŸ’‘ Beams MBN342 Networked Technology 200 Lumens: Revolutionizing Lighting with Smart Connectivity by Tammy Campbell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well made and very easy to install

Total purchase of 6 (MBN352) lights (three packs of two lights). The processing quality is very good. The kit includes mounting screws, dowels and a screwdriver. I did not use the screws provided as they are too short to securely attach the lantern to the tree. Although they are more than adequate for most other jets. Just in case I missed the seam with silicone (where the head connects to the body). I think there should have been a rubber gasket to keep moisture out but there wasn't one so I used silicone to keep the inside of the light nice and dry. The base easily slides out of the mounting bracket; It is very easy to attach the mount to... whatever you want to attach the light to. I've found it's a good idea to keep the light where you want it so you can make sure it's illuminating the exact area you want. I had to move a bracket because it was a bit off where I wanted to shine. Adjusting the direction of the light is done with two points: one on the mounting bracket and the other on the elbow of the hand holding the light. bright. Together, the two adjustment points offer some flexibility in adjusting the light. I connected six lights in groups of two (three pairs). So if either pair senses movement, both lights (in that pair) will light up. I had a little trouble connecting a light but it turned out to be a location issue. Moving this light completely solved the problem. (I made sure the pairing was working before installing the lights). Brightness is relative. In total darkness, 200 lumens looks insanely bright. We have dusk-to-dawn lighting, so our goal with Mr. Beams is - Fill in areas that aren't lit from dusk-to-dawn (and have motion lighting when the power goes out). Because of this light, Mr. Beam's lights don't appear that bright from dusk to dawn (to us). However, they do an excellent job of illuminating areas where there's no light from dusk to dawn, so there are we very satisfied with Mr. Balken. I unwillingly have the durability of a Mr. Beam, dropped them. (when installed) from a height of approximately 7.5 feet. He hit the ground with a thud, but that didn't make it worse. So far we are very happy with the purchase and expect Mr. Balken to last many years.
