There aren't many options when it comes to Chromebook cases. This one does the job but it's the second one I had to buy because my first one (exactly the same style) broke a bit on the corner. Second, but I didn't mind. The case collapsed again in the same way as the previous one. Essentially, the plastic stays attached to the computer with small clips that extend from the main base. However, they break quite easily. I've never dropped my Chromebook, but a piece of plastic comes off on one side, both times the bottom half, not the top half. The case still works, but it slips off very easily when I put it down. I don't know, maybe I'm just being rude, but it's far from ideal in terms of protection and cost effectiveness.
