I haven't worn earrings in 5 years and bought these silver and gold hoop earrings for my daughter for Easter along with the stud earrings you see in my ear which were a separate purchase. I kept a few for myself. I put gold rings in my ears and after a few hours they itched terribly. My daughter and I have sensitive skin so I bought these because they said they were hypoallergenic. If you look at my photo you can clearly see the redness of my skin where the earrings were. I had no problems with the cleats you see in the photo. In fact, I took this photo on April 26th, and today is May 8th, I still haven't taken off my stud earrings. I threw all the tires in the trash can. I understand they are cheap but the small post is also very flimsy. They look good but I strongly recommend that you do not purchase this product unless you are allergic to metals.
