The chairs are not of high quality but for the price you shouldn't expect that. The chair is made for people with a small physique. A man or woman who weighs over 150 pounds or has a big butt should probably look at other chairs. I bought these for my daughter's kitchen bar. Their weight is around 180 and they are not strong enough to be comfortable. I'm 118, I'm 5ft 1in and I feel like they fit my build. They are convenient in that they only cost $45 per chair.
