Our local nursery provided us with a lighted fireplace and garland, but the lights were bluish in color and had no remote control. I found these headlights on a Revain and rebuilt the headlights. I couldn't be happier. The light is beautiful and I love that I can use the remote control to easily turn the light on and off. Each string comes with its own remote control, but one remote controls each of the strings - just point and click. I even added lightbulbs to my poinsettia - it's really pretty. These garlands add an extra dimension to my Christmas tree garlands. And the pre-stressed bulbs on my desk piece will soon stop working, so instead of replacing a very expensive part I'll just pull out the bulbs and wire the kit to those bulbs. This is a great purchase.
