Thank you LIFESUPPLYUSA! After purchasing aftermarket HEPA and pre-filters from various other vendors, while all HEPAs looked fine, ALL carbon pre-filters were noticeably (large) much thinner and therefore less efficient. I was so damn surprised and excited when I received my last order from LIFESUPPLYUSA and found that the pre-filters are identical in thickness to the OEM filters! If I wasn't so lazy I would have snapped some pictures to show you, but alas. :) * "Update: LIFESUPPLYUSA must have REALLY listened to customer feedback over the years because (as of 2017) the incredibly thick carbon pre-filters that came with my last order were the BEST filters I've ever seen - even better as the OEM! Somehow they managed to PERFECT the attachment slots so they fit securely like a glove. I couldn't believe it when I didn't have to do what I usually do: attach the pre-filter as best I can, tilt my air purifier forward a bit, and then quickly slam the lid shut and pray the pre-filter stays in place . Again, the last batch fitted perfectly and securely, I couldn't believe it (and honestly wondered why/how the heck OEM never fits). went down, so I immediately ordered another set. I hope the last order was not a coincidence. I will definitely update if this is the case. ;) Just FYI why I'm ordering so many - I have a few units, 6 cats and a fiancee who has a fatal allergy.
