so i bought them to install as hidden led strobe lights. I knew for the price I shouldn't expect branded quality or anything like that, but I read a few reviews and thought I'd give it a try. After 5 days of delay from the delivery date, I tried them and I was satisfied. maybe they would work. I made my 1 inch cut outs in the 2020 Explorer tail light and plugged them in. This is where the disappointment began. The colors should be amber white, which is what I "assumed". They fire in a pattern that shows amber and white instead of yellow as both white and yellow flash together. The instructions say 42 tones. For the rest of my life I could not tell when and where the picture changed. Test day and night. The night was like a strobe light that drew appropriate attention but wasn't as bright as I wanted it to be. The daylight test was again disappointing. I returned them and paid for Abrams professional brand and am very impressed and satisfied.
