Review on UPF Packable Wide Brim Sun Hats for Women - Mesh Summer Beach Hats with UV Protection and Chin Strap by Eric Speers

I bought a hat to wear at an outdoor arts festival near the beach. When it arrived it was folded in quarters and in a zipped bag. But he perked up as soon as I opened it up! (Note: You MUST reshape the wire after opening the hat.) Brim is smooth to the touch, high quality cotton blend. It is sewn very neatly. Even the seam down the center of the mesh upper has received attention. Perfect! Where the wire is sewn inside, the lining is also very well made. All edges are processed, there are no protruding threads, the buttons are tightened, there are no stains on the fabric and mesh. The pattern on the lining is crisp and clear, not blurry, so it's very beautiful. I have a medium sized head (22.75 inches) and short curly hair. The rims are 4.5 inches as advertised (I measured that) and they still cover my glasses when rolled up a bit. The hat fits perfectly, not tight at all, and the headband sits right over my ears so the tops of my ears don't hurt when I'm wearing glasses. However, I would not recommend it for heads larger than 23 inches. For small heads there are ties inside the hat band that can be tightened for a tighter fit. I was so happy playing with my hat that I almost threw away the tiny chin strap pouch. Maybe the other reviewers who said they didn't get the chin strap accidentally threw it away like I did because it's so small. In general, this hat is a win-win situation! I'll give it to some of my friends and share the joy! :)
