Review on 📐 Fiskars SureCut Paper Trimmer 1004723, 30.2 x 11.5 x 2.9 cm, Standard by Denise Davis

I have been using this new liner for a while now and am very disappointed with it. I have been using Fiskars circular knives for many years. I have two that I use in my shop. I installed the new bar when it arrived and everything looked fine. But after several cuts I got a deep groove in the bar. This resulted in a warped blade and the formation of wavy circular cuts instead of nice straight ones. I took a closer look at the bar and compared it to the original bar that was still in the other cutter. This new rod is made from a different material. It's more plastic whereas the original was a denser fiber or something. The end result is that I only had to change the surface after a few cuts. I won't buy this again. I would blame an aftermarket brand, but it was in Fiskars packaging so I have to assume it's a well-known brand. Shame on FIskars for discounting such an important part of their cutter. Not sure what to do next, maybe upgrade to a more advanced disc cutter.
