I use it as a first aid and hygiene organizer when hiking and when walking with my scout boys as a caving guide. It's light and strong enough to hold all loose items together. I like that it's easy and straightforward to find what I'm looking for as I usually stuff a bunch of small loose items in there. This is not a waterproof bag and never should be. The only job in life is to keep small things together in a bag that's easy to see inside, and it does it very well. I couldn't be happier and would recommend to friends. Ten bucks for a handy little bag from Osprey is a bargain.
