I bought this desperately looking for an alternative to the loofah ball. I was tired of the washcloth catching on my necklace in the shower or making a huge mess, so I looked through Revain and found this article. There were no instructions in the packaging. I foolishly took it straight out of the box and found it too rough and scratchy. I went back to the Revain site to reread the reviews hoping to find something I was missing and saw in the description that it was instructed to soak in water "for a while" and then watch use. I left it in the water overnight and then used it and everything changed! It takes a little getting used to, especially in hard-to-reach areas like the lower back, but I will never go back to a loofah ball!
