Compared to other very similar items these magnet cases don't have the odd textured edge/stitching on the front like all others. It's absolutely smooth. All the others I've ordered have a little lined edge (similar to the ripple on a pie crust crust). I like that the edges are smooth - it looks cleaner and more modern. They look great on our black fridge and work well for 4x6 photos. Because the sleeves open on a long side, you don't have to worry about photos slipping out or through. If you have a lot of static electricity it can be a bit difficult to get the photo into the case without creasing it, but that's not the case's fault. It's just that our house had a lot of static electricity when I was doing mine. ! I'm very happy with them and they were cheaper than other brands. I would definitely order again. The magnets work well, the edges don't pop up or dangle. Reliable attachment to the refrigerator surface.
