ok if you use 8 gauge then it's ok but you have to use 6 gauge and 6 gauge with this plug which doesn't fit well on the sockets it will be under constraint as they fit thinner ones Wires or made may be stranded wire (like DC wire, not AC) the male version is great but this female is not
