A favorite of 2 year olds
Our 2 year old loves his Elmo shoes and quickly learned how you put them on yourself. They held up well for almost two months with limited wear around the front toes where they kept bumping into things. The only downside is that there isn't much arch support and after a few weeks of wearing these shoes all day every day his feet started to hurt. He is extremely active and runs around all day long so most of the other kids probably won't even notice.
