I needed a light that I could use for video calls at work because the overhead lighting is behind me, not in front of me. That worked great for me. I like to control the lighting, you can adjust the color temperature from very warm white (3100K) to cool white (5500K). I have 4500k. I also like that you can change the light intensity from 1% to 100% in 5% increments. After some tweaking, I found that around 15% works well for my office. I took this home and used the suction cup mount on the back of my tv in the basement which we use to make phone calls through the facebook portal and as it is a larger/darker room 50% worked well. The back of the display also gives you info on how long the battery will last from that outlet, which is handy for making sure your lights survive your meeting if you don't have a USB charger to keep them charged, but that's it the lifespan is far from the case, the battery life was great.
