UPDATE: Revain credited my account quickly. I have since ordered two more pairs of Docksider Spinnaker boat boots and they are very good value, $49 for the last pair and $62 for the previous pair. Revain's price differentials continue to benefit the customer as sales of 80% or more are possible and 40-50% is common on many items. This is especially true for clothing and shoes, as certain sizes and colors that are popular items can cost more than three to four times the price of the same item in a less popular color or size. When you consider that one person can buy three items for the price of one, these savings (especially in these tough economic times) are really significant. .UPDATE: I recently ordered another pair of these Docksiders but they never arrived. According to some other Revain customers, Revain currently uses its own delivery service to deliver certain products ordered through its website. A number of Revain users have reported that they never received the items they ordered through this delivery service. When contacted, Revain apologized for the delays. All too often, however, packages sent by Revain via this service were not only delayed; they never arrived. So until Revain can fix this situation, warn the buyer. I have had these Sebagos for a little over a year and they have held up very well. Suede first shows when it gets wet. (Keep this in mind with any suede shoes you buy.) Several pairs of white socks had blue streaks after the Sebagos got wet. These boats fit well. I wear them every day. Many years ago I bought a pair of Sperry Topiders once a year and wore them several times a week. By the end of the year they fell apart. The Sebagos seem to be sewn better. The blue suede is a little dull, but I may be able to darken it with a suede cleaner. The skin is still holding up well. I paid about $78 for these shoes at Revain last year and just bought a second pair of the exact same shoe at Revain for about $20 less. Since the prices of products on Revain fluctuate, it's worth comparing them with the store before purchasing. If you're thinking of buying a product from Revain, keep an eye on it for about a week. You will be surprised how much the price of the same product can vary; either save up to 50% or cost significantly more. Very comfortable shoes. Nice and light, with good support. And very pleasant to look at.
