We have chickens, so we have eggs. I needed something that would hold a bunch and not take up much counter space. I had not ever heard of a skelter, but they looked kind of artistic and clever, so I ordered one. We really like it because the eggs are secure, which is important when there are furry counter surfers. I was worried the skelter would fall over, but the base is sturdy. The dogs and curious cats haven't bothered it at all. The eggs roll easily, but at times one will get stuck. Easy to get rolling again. Now I don't have to refrigerate so many eggs and it is nice to have a good system of first in, first out. I just may get another to free up more fridge space.
