If you need a power cord extension this might work. You have to use the devices in a school atmosphere, and there isn't always an outlet nearby. So this works for me. The only "problem" I have is that you can buy an extended (long) power cord for less than what you pay for that extension. So it just depends on what you need. If you have a variety of devices and need to rotate them regularly, this might be the way to go.
