I love this razor! I'm 53 years old (I've been shaving since I was 18) and I've NEVER used a razor that good. It's so smooth you don't even feel like you're shaving. No burns or irritation with this quality product. In fact I find I don't need shaving cream, a good moisturizing soap works great. I think the replacement razor cartridge can play a key role here and I'm pretty sure all Gillete Venus replacement cartridges will fit different types of handles; That means you can probably buy a cheaper Venus razor and then just buy those attachments. I think I bought it for a good price as a supplement which is why I bought it. Definitely worth a try if it fits your budget OR check out the retail price and/or coupon to see if it's worth it for you.
