I got this in an XL even though I thought I could wear a L. I am a size 14-16 depending on fabric. I'm glad I did.it's not at all tight on me and it is very comfortable. For this type of style, that is how I was hoping it would fit. I could fit into a L but I think it might have hugged my butt a bit too much for comfort. If you are around my size and like a tighter fit though, get a L. Ample room in legs. I am not busty so the top fit fine too, but plenty of room there.It is soft and super comfortable. I will wear a shirt, jacket or kimono over top as I'm not one to like my arms to show.I know I'll get lots of use out of this and will buy more!
