I'm 5'2" and 145 pounds (size 9 or 11 short jeans). I am also 6 weeks after the birth of my third child. It does a great job of keeping everything in place, like my kangaroo pocket. He sits great! It wasn't too tight or too loose. It was just comfortable to the point where I forgot I was even wearing it. The lace is a nice touch to make you feel feminine, but I didn't see much of a difference in butt shaping/lifting. I would definitely buy it again if I had to because it really works to make you look slimmer!
