The skirt is exactly as expected. I like that it swings slightly and looks feminine. I love that it's warm enough for cold weather and versatile for a variety of occasions. I would love to have the same skirt pattern with a back zip and a flat waistband. The elastic at the waist is physically uncomfortable for me to wear. I prefer a flat belt because it's much more comfortable to wear over an hour for health reasons. An elastic waistband might be a great solution for others, but not for me. But I can redo the belt. I bought it because I like the style of everything else, the material is warm and it's long enough.
