I have used Nair in the past primarily as a hair removal cream. It seemed to have lost its effectiveness or effect on hair removal. I decided to give it a try. The results were similar to Nair. Hair removed, and now the time has come. It was very good at removing lighter hair but struggled to remove thicker or coarser hair. I tried applying it a second time hoping it would remove the remaining hair. I would not recommend that. The second application was painful. (The bottle probably warns against this method.) After washing, the pain subsided. It made my skin smooth, although some hairs remained. Recommended for thin and normal hair removal. I would not use it as the only method for removing thick hair.
