Carrying my laptop (Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-57D4) in a backpack caused scratches. I bought this case to protect my laptop and save on resale value. The case was easily closed. It fits perfectly. I use the legs when using my laptop at my desk because the angle created makes typing more comfortable. In continuous use for 5 months without any problems. It has a few scratches on it. I'm glad the suitcase takes them instead of my laptop. Scratches on the case are also invisible unless you look for them. I bought it in black and it looks very clean and simple. The only complaint was that there was a sharp edge on one of the corners, but I smoothed it out slightly. Overall very satisfied and recommended!
