I replaced my old original 111w Singer clutch motor with this CSM3000 servo motor. I've been using my old industrial singer for 35 years so I've gotten pretty good at driving the old clutch motor. This new powerful servo motor has turned sewing into a whole new game. Now I can control the speed at launch without touching the flywheel! No more background hum, just silence until I step on the pedal. For safety, I plugged my sewing light into a socket on the new controller and turned it on and off with the motor. So I know when changing the bobbin or needle whether the machine switches on or off, by looking at the light without looking at the regulator switch. I replaced the original 75mm pulley with a 45mm pulley before installing the new motor. The pulley bore is 15mm and does not require a set screw. It's too early to speak about the durability of the motor and controller, but the design and finish seem well thought out and they perform as expected.
