I used them to name our stockings.
I've used them to put names on our stockings and they worked great. Since I was mounting them on a thick and textured surface, I increased the ironing time slightly on the right side and twice on the wrong side. So far, after many manipulations, they have held up well, but I have not tried washing and drying them.
