I did a side by side comparison of two motorcycles sitting side by side, both originally equipped with standard incandescent 1157 bulbs. I installed one of these LED’s in bike number 1 and the difference was unbelievable. Probably 3x brighter than the standard bulb. I then installed the LED in bike number two and had the exact same results.These are currently installed in reflector type housings, but I could see this being a great upgrade regardless of the housing type.Another note. The "step up” in brightness between running and braking lights is significant. This means people will be able to tell when your brake lights come on, which is obviously very important.
