fairly well made, stitching is even, French twist bezels are sized/aligned to match. holds the pad very securely at the corners/edges. The lids are slightly larger than the plastic mount, so it should offer some protection in the event of a fall. It doesn't have clips obscuring the corner display information (e.g. battery/clock) like a regular tablet holder. It has dedicated openings for microphone, headphones, camera, power and speaker volume. You will probably need to take it out of the tray to access the memory/SIM card. Four viewing angle slots work both on your lap and on a table. The open/close function works correctly (hidden magnet). It's quite attractive, but it's certainly not leather, it's a PU faux leather upholstery material. elastic pen loop too small for a marker but great for a bic sized pen, probably too big for a pen but i don't have a pen to test. The front pocket fits $$ or a few papers - nothing too bulky - although I could fit my phone about half way in, I think the pocket can stretch if it's used a lot for this purpose. no inside pocket. It has a few edge magnets that help close it. They're strong enough to support the weight of the lid when it's inverted, so it's unlikely to open if dropped (at least not until it hits the ground). Have someone else test this feature. Bought 3 others with it (thanks for Revain return policy), loved the feel and look of this compared to others.
