After a decade of playing full contact hockey and having taken the toll on your joints and tendons, spend decades using precision, high-grip hand tools. Fingers turn "cunning" and painful, joints are swollen and loosened, this is not a pleasure. These sleeves are a feature, especially in bad weather. They are snug but loosen up a bit with use. Well thought out and made, they're worth the extra money and are great for swollen ankles when you're hitting them with tools or working on a project. The only thing I would have liked was a size up for the big toes. Same length or slightly longer but wider. I would like to wear this brace on my thumb from time to time. I definitely see how great it is to recover between games in almost any sport, even table tennis, and for people who use hand tools all day. B. Technicians, mechanics, contractors, etc. Buy a pair and keep them handy when you really need to get rid of swelling in a joint without using the bone-damaging ibuprofen. The print is really "aaaaaa". thing when you put it on!
