This does not apply to US coins, so nickels are the smallest coin that will fit well. If you add up dimes and pennies and pull one out, you get a bonus that spits at you. I am a delivery driver and need to change loose change so this organizer would be useful but this particular one was a waste of money. I seriously paid more than this thing lasts.
