Exactly the color I was looking for. Not grey, not beige, but grey-brown! Some call it "crunch". It took 3 quilts back from other sources to finally get it right. Very soft and snuggly, not too heavy but not too light. I had King drape the queen bed but it was a bit short so I could tuck the pillows in, which I like. I sew one of the patches to the foot of the duvet to tuck under the mattress to keep the duvet from creeping around the bed while we sleep. Right now, our footboard hides the fact that from head to toe, it's not long enough to slip pillows in and tuck under the foot of a queen mattress. However, I am so relieved to have found such a quality duvet in exactly the colors I was looking for!
