Then you are here. I love this keyboard. I contacted Perixx before purchasing and they responded quickly. Good first impression. The keyboard has 4 backlight levels 1=off. 2=low 3=medium 4=high I have a white keyboard. Under typical ambient lighting conditions, the key labels are dark on a white background. In the dark or in low light, the keyboard lights up, a soft light visible through the lettering on each key. I don't "need" a backlight on this ergonomic keyboard, but I work A LOT indoors. dark. (Take it how you like.) They're very handy, especially for passwords. This is very similar to MS Natural which I have had for years. The only difference is that the home/end/ins/del/pgup/pgdn group is rotated but intuitive enough, and the spacebar is split into two keys. It has two USB inputs on the back of the keyboard behind the number pad. Cons: USB connector seems loose. Time will tell how that turns out. The numlk/scrllck/capslk displays are too bright and are immediately annoying. I'm going to cover this window with black tape and make holes. It's tough, but it's new. Hope it goes down well.
