Quality Issues: Night Light

These are amazing lights (I say after a week of use). Bright. As mentioned, the red indicator light is bright - you'll need to cover it with electrical tape to reduce the light in the room. However, due to quality issues, they get three stars. I bought electric pens from two of the five that didn't plug the plug into the wall (even when "persuaded" with a screwdriver). I had to take the piece apart (very small screws and loose parts) to loosen the pins that go into the wall. This action destroyed the latch that holds the tabs in the extended or retracted state. It's possible to use a tiny lever (to push out or push in the pins, which doesn't pop out of the holder when you push it) to hold the pins in place so they can be inserted into a socket to hold the pins into an outlet to be plugged in. an outlet, but it's tricky, and turning off the light to use as a flashlight would require the same maneuver (or tape) to keep the pins retracted. In short, the flashlight is very suitable as a power outage flashlight, which is only plugged in once, but it is a pity if it is also used as a flashlight.

Pros
  • Power Fail LED - The front bezel lights up automatically when a power failure occurs, alerting you to a power failure. Leave your charger plugged into a wall outlet or use as a portable task light around the house
Cons
  • Not bad but...
